Subject	98 spec transmission worth it?

Message	NEw motor is in and waiting for the SZ tune to make it bad ass. BUT, my transmission is grinding when shifting gears at high speeds. So, should I drop the 1750 on the 98 spec transmission or just have mine rebuilt? I don't know any good shops here in Dallas than can do the rebuild so if anyone knows any please let me know.
